Even When God is Silent
Heaven's Therapeutic Technique
Sometimes, often times, probably even most of the time Heaven uses silence as a therapeutic technique.
While it remains kind of us to continue to trick ourselves into thinking God would owe us an answer. True, at certain levels of spiritual development perhaps it is therapeutic for us to "assume" and think we can answer for heaven. Truthfully the only thing we can do as humans is realize with hope that any answer we "place" in heavenly terms remains just that, a projection that relieves our frail human ego.
Several years ago while walking through a newly renovated synagogue n Nashville, Tennessee I saw these words inscribed " I believe in God Even When God is Silent". These words were originally discovered inscribed on a wall during World War II where many Jewish people had been taken from their homes and deported to Nazi concentration camps.
What if God remains silent to your prayers?
What if God requires your life, your ego and spiritual ego?
What if God remains silent while you are taken to your death such as a kidnapping, genocide, war, accident etc?
What is the spiritual ego and how do we identify it?
What is suicide of the ego in spiritual direction and how do you carefully help someone navigate those psychological and emotional waterways of subconscious terrain?
One amazing composition is Even When God is Silent by Michael Horvit.

Our Lady of Lourdes
February 11: Our Lady of Lourdes
Near Lourdes in southern France, in 1858 in the grotto of Massabielle Our Lady appeared 18 times to Bernadette Soubirous, a young peasant girl.
Our Lady revealed herself as the Immaculate Conception. Our Lady asked that a chapel be built on the site of the vision, and told the girl to drink from a fountain in the grotto.
When Bernadette dug at a spot designated by the apparition, a spring began to flow. The water from this still flowing spring has shown remarkable healing power. Lourdes is one of the most famous modern shrines of Our Lady.
